 COMMUNITY CARE
PROGRAM SECRETARY - (PART TIME)TERM POSITION

The Anishinaabeg of Naongashiing Community Care Program is
seeking an Interim Program Secretary. 
This is a term position for an undetermined period of time working 15
hours per week.

The Program Secretary reports to the Community Care Program
Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective
operation of office procedures and routines and providing clerical and
administrative support to the Community Care Program staff.

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Anishinaabeg of Naongashiing
    Community Care Program and Weechi-it-te-win Family Services
  • Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture and traditions
  • Experience with Computer Applications such as
    Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, Internet Browsing and Email
    software
  • Experience with General Office Equipment
  • Experience with maintaining a filing system
  • The ability to answer telephone calls and relay
    messages in a professional, polite and timely manner
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma

Desired Skills

  • Ability to speak Ojibwe
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping
